Alan Fletcher started his full-service plumbing company in 1991 and in 1995 became the first contractor in Georgia to offer trenchless sewer and drain rehabilitation. Thirty years on, Fletch Barney is regularly called in by engineers to consult on difficult sewer infrastructure designs and repairs, and to train other contractors on the technology.
The company is one of a small number in North America cleared to perform trenchless and plumbing work inside nuclear facilities, a credential that involves stringent background checks and requirements. For homeowners the approach is the same as for engineers: assess the line with a camera, explain the options plainly, and recommend the most economical fix, whether that is a cleaning, a camera inspection or a full lining.
