The homeowner had been managing raw sewage backups by having the line hydro-jetted or rodded every six months. When it began backing up the day after a cleaning, she called TSR. The camera inspection found a pipe in very weak condition and close to collapsing, but not yet collapsed, which was the difference between lining it and digging it up.
TSR moved quickly and lined the full 86 feet before the pipe could deteriorate further. A cured-in-place liner does not depend on the host pipe for strength once cured, so the weakened original is no longer a concern. She has since referred her brother in Encino for the same repair.
